DARE TO DREAM PLEDGE PROGRAM
Background:
Through the Dare to Dream Pledge Program, Sinorice encourages students to dare themselves to realize their dreams, big or small, so that they can achieve their greatest potential and develop an "I Can" attitude in life. Encouraged to dream by his own teachers, Sinorice set goals and dared himself to accomplish each of them. Through a positive attitude, hard work and dedication, Sinorice graduated high school and college and is living his dream of becoming a professional football player. The Dare to Dream Pledge Program was created to assist teachers in empowering and energizing today's youth with a similar mindset so that they too can make their dreams reality.

How it Works:
Teachers and students who take the pledge write letters to Sinorice expressing short-
term and long-term goals. Examples may include but are not limited to, finishing a book
by the end of a semester, improving grades in a specific subject, or applying to college.

Sinorice and the Dare to Dream Foundation work with the class on an ongoing basis
to monitor progress and provide access to the tools necessary for the student's academic
and personal development. This may include providing books or helping students gain
   access to tutors and mentors.

Students who accomplish their goals will receive a certificate personally signed by Sinorice
and have their name added to the Dare to Dream "Honors Roll" featured on the website.

Students who have successfully completed the program will have the opportunity to be
spokespersons for the program, challenging fellow classmates, siblings and/or friends
   to participate.

The Dare to Dream Pledge Program aims to create a supportive network for students, empowering them with greater confidence, an "I Can" attitude, and the educational tools to succeed in life. To take the challenge, please contact info@d2dream.org

MS. BLACK PROGRAM

Ms. Black, a guidance counselor at Sinorice's high school in Miami, Florida challenged her students to dream beyond senior year. Her ongoing support helped Sinorice and many of his classmates to not only graduate high school but also continue on to college. It is because of Ms. Black's encouragement throughout the college application process that Sinorice went on to attend the University of Miami. To honor Ms. Black's memory as well as acknowledge her impact on Sinorice, the Dare to Dream Foundation seeks to support guidance counselors and school programs dedicated to assisting students in their pursuit of higher education.

THE TEACHER FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

Recognizing that his teachers were integral with helping him to achieve his greatest potential, Sinorice established The Teacher Fellowship Program. It is available to teachers who participate in the Dare to Dream Pledge and includes four dinners throughout the year where teachers have an opportunity to meet with colleagues from various schools to discuss strategies regarding how best to inspire and motivate students to fulfill their dares and develop a positive, can-do attitude.

Teachers who are enrolled in this program will be given access to a blog so they may communicate with others throughout the year. The Dare to Dream Foundation is committed to this program as well as providing the necessary tools for students to achieve their dreams but we cannot do this alone. We want to partner with you, the teachers, as you each of you are the role models and mentors for the next generation. Please contact info@d2dream.org
